Barcelona to Host Historic Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Basque side in the Spanish league over two years after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou on 7 November. The club said they are seeking authorization by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht next month in the renovated venue. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
