Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane landed based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a press officer commented in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This event isn't the first time that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a top government figure has experienced technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane carrying the US Secretary of State to Munich was required to turn back to Washington after suffering a technical issue.
