Pat Bamford Joins Sheffield United After Initiating Derogatory Songs About Manager Wilder

Patrick Bamford is now a member of the Championship side only half a year after leading derogatory songs aimed at the team's coach, Chris Wilder.

This experienced striker, a free agent since leaving Leeds United, has agreed to a agreement joining the Championship strugglers through the winter. Bamford's lengthy time at Elland Road concluded through agreement in August.

Wilder stated at the time: “Had a conversation with Pat recently and I’ve no issue at all with that. I'm uncertain about the language from a fellow pro! However I valued and admired him giving me a call.

“We spent a short while and similarly I talked with Daniel Farke as well and had a longer discussion with him and he is a great person, a top guy. Back in my playing days we would give it and accept it and that’s an integral part of the game across all levels, including Sunday league. I've got no problem at all. I'm fine with it and I told him that to Pat.”

Latest Career Challenges

Bamford made 18 appearances with Leeds United in the previous campaign however the ex- Nottingham Forest, Chelsea FC and Middlesbrough striker has struggled with injury in recent years.
